New Payment Innovation (NPI) is a provider of face to face and online payment services. The business delivers innovation beyond the transaction through its unique, proprietary technology. The NPI Revolution platform delivers automated boarding capability as well as transaction reporting and insight supporting our customers in making informed financial decisions.
Our services are principally distributed through more than 100 strategic partners covering a broad spectrum of industries, business types and sizes. Our partners consist of telecoms and utility providers, web design agencies, franchises as well as other payment services businesses.

Diversity plays a significant role in the success of NPI. With team members from 11 different countries employed within the group; with such a variety of different cultures and beliefs we bring together great ideas from all over the world.
NPI is the only known provider in the world that has entirely off-set the emissions of its payment network through the planting of 1250m2 of woodland in Cumbria, working with the Woodland Trust.
With an annual local and national charity NPI run a series of internal events and initiatives to raise money for good causes from bake sales and competitions to wearing your pyjamas to work day!
As well as ensuring our team are aware of the impact of our operation on the environment, NPI also supports local initiatives to encourage more children to adopt technology as a career through our “coding clubs”.
We focus on managing procurement from sustainable sources wherever possible and making the best possible use of our resources be that energy, travel, waste, water and paper.
Supporting those that have families and building teams that bond like families, culture is incredibly important to NPI. The business hosts a series of events to bring people closer together and support working families to mix and build long term friendships.

What is your job role?
As an Account Manager I am responsible for creating and maintaining strategic partnerships for NPI. This involves researching potential partner opportunities and reach out to them and try develop a successful partnership.
My main focus is maintaining communication with all of our partnerships, this might be a phone call or an e-mail. I go through reports and help them with any situations they might need help with. I am continuously looking for any new partnership opportunities, I try to find businesses with an existing customer base which could benefit from offering them our products and services.
What’s your favourite thing about working at NPI? I enjoy being part of an amazing team, the guys in the office are always there if I need them. I also enjoy meeting with clients and I am always up for a challenge!
Inside Sales Team Leader
How long have you worked at NPI? Since May 2018
What is your job role? As Inside Sales Team Leader, my role comprises of generating new business for the company, customer service duties as well as helping the team reach maximum potential.
What’s your favourite thing about working at NPI? That NPI are a customer focused merchant services company who are reshaping the industry.
How long have you worked at NPI? 1 year and 4 months
What is your job role? My role is to support the success and growth of our current and new sales opportunities in Ireland in the card payments industry.
What does your day look like at NPI? It varies from day to day, from assisting with a new merchant’s application, ensuring funding is in place for another merchant, to working with one of our many business partners in the card payments business.
What’s your favourite thing about working at NPI? Knowing that there is great support within the company and that the pedigree is there within, e.g. our award-winning software is respected throughout the industry. The company is always open to new ideas and there is a healthy culture which appeals to me.
